For the first time the annual WYSE Travel Confederations conference and trade show was held in our very own Cape Town. Attended by around 350 delegates from all around the world and South Africa, all leaders in the youth travel industry worldwide, from hotels to surfing tours. .Club Travel recently held their fun filled conference weekend , consisting of networking breakfasts, service awards and industry awards all recognising service excellence in a very tough industry in todays economic climate. I must extend hearty congratulations to the Spintelligent team and all others involved with the organisation of this huge event. It really was a fantastic and well run event running for three days. 12000 square meters of expo floor space, key note addresses with world wide speakers, workshops, forums a gala dinner with 700 people with our honourable Mayor Patricia De lille the guest of honour and delivering a keynote address, and then awards for excellence in the industry. here […]
Having just completed a publication on the pioneers of Biotechnology for SAASTA a division of the NRF it was a great honour to be invited to cover their event at the UWC at their Life Sciences Building. Im off to Tanzania from the 14th of September and arrive back the 20th to cover the general assembly of one of my organisations I work for in Gauteng. These professors, doctors, researches and scientists dedicate their lives to bettering peoples lives suffering from various illnesses, this conference dealing with rheumatoid arthritis a particularly nasty illness. here are a few images from the day.
